The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

BioGrad Education proudly encourages students aged 16-19 attending any relevant course to take advantage of the DofE opportunities on offer. A member of the team will be able to sign off on the ‘residential element’ of your DofE Gold upon completion of any 1-week course.

DofE opportunities are engineered to help students become more independent and curious, to discover their talents so they can pursue doing what they like.

Here at BioGrad Education we are excited to offer DofE Gold Residential opportunities in Liverpool where you will have chance to explore the historical and contemporary parts of the city. ‘BioGrad Bingo’ is sure to take you on a fun journey with your newly made friends to discover Liverpool and win prizes!

Please note, accommodation is not included in the course fee and is an additional charge.

How does it work?

You don’t have to do anything! If you have booked a 5-day course with us and are staying at our accommodation partner ‘Quest’ for at least 4 nights, just provide your DofE number when prompted and our DofE activities will be included in your package! Once you finish the course and have spent five days in the laboratory/clinic while living independently, we will be able to register your DofE activity on the Duke of Edinburgh website and you are good to go.

To get the most out of your DofE residential course you should:

1. Cook some food! You will have a kitchenette in your apartment so you can make yourself a tasty meal.

2. Explore the city and share new memories with your friends and family!

3. Learn new skills in the laboratories/clinics!

4. Discuss your future career dreams and goals with our lecturers and get inspired!

5. Relax and enjoy yourself!
