After many months of work we are delighted to announce that The Medic Portal have designed an enhanced UCAT course specifically for BioGrad students! This course far exceeds the options they deliver in schools with over twice the teaching hours and additional material not available with The Medic Portal through any other provider.
All courses will be upgraded from July 20th 2020.
Please do not be alarmed at the change in course provider, we have spent a lot of time analysing the results from each provider and students who study with The Medic Portal on average obtain higher grades for UCAT and BMAT exams, plus The Medic Portal courses are the only pre-med courses endorsed by The Royal Society of Medicine!
Course outlines remain mainly unchanged, but the quality of the course content has improved (based on student feedback reviews and student score analysis).
Monday: Introduction to the UCAT & Verbal Reasoning
Tuesday: Decision Making
Wednesday: Abstract Reasoning
Thursday: Quantitative Reasoning
Friday: Situational Judgement
The Medic Portal have hundreds of independent five-star reviews on Feefo and have won Gold Trusted Service Awards in both 2019 and 2020. No UCAT/BMAT providers are providing in-class teaching at the moment, so the course will be delivered via a live web link on the main lecture screen and each student can access their own portal for performing the work on their laptop. The lecturer can see each student and observe their work at all times during the sessions. BioGrad will also provide a medic in each room to make sure students have an on-site lecturer to answer any questions or help with IT issues.
In addition to the enhanced course, all students will have access to the UCAT/BMAT question bank (as appropriate) for the rest of the season. Students will be provided with their passwords for this question bank during their course and will be sent their individual login information in a separate e-mail.
All students will need a laptop, pen and UCAT students will also need a basic calculator.
If you do not have access to a laptop please let us know in advance and we will make sure we have one available on site for you to use.
