UCAT Preparation
5 Day Course
Available Dates

UCAT is the University Clinical Aptitude Test, that forms part of the medicine and dentistry selection process at a range of universities. Our UCAT Preparation course will give you all the skills and techniques to adequately prepare you to sit medical aptitude tests. For more information on the Universities that use the UCAT score please follow the link.

What to expect

The UCAT test preparation course is a 5-day programme that runs from 9am to 4pm each day. The days will be spent covering the below content with our experts via guided learning as well as carrying out your own individual study with our experts on hand to answer any questions you may have. You will attend a morning session, usually delivered at the outstanding Liverpool Medical Institute followed by an hour lunch break. The afternoon is a self-study session, where you can choose to study independently or in a group.

The programme aims to increase your test score by preparing you to sit your UCAT exam. There are two elements to your UCAT test. The first element contains 4 subsections. For each of the four subsections you will receive a score between 300 and 900, these scores will be added together to give you an overall score. These scores are used in various ways by different universities, so check the university selection criteria before you make your application. The second section is the Situational Judgement score which is marked in 4 bands A to D. Check the latest information here.
